This neighborhood bar has been a fixture of Kent’s East Hill as Carriage Square Bar & Grill for over 30 years, but we want to have impact that goes beyond the Carriage Square commercial complex where we operate. We need a name that reflects our mission and energy. For that reason, we have changed our name to ACTION SPORTS BAR & GRILL. “Action” better describes our vibe and direction. We aim to be of action, talk is cheap. Action Sports Bar is the place to catch all the local sports. 22 tv’s dedicated to showing all the Seahawks, Mariners, Kracken, and Sounders games, plus college action. An amazing staff, 9 pool tables, APA, BCA and TAP billiards leagues with monthly tournaments. 5 Darts Live boards, a rocking sound system with delicious food and drinks. “I'm a bartender, always will be. Service has been my chosen profession for over 20 years, I love the hospitality industry, although I never thought I’d own a bar in my old hometown. It’s kinda crazy being back in Kent, I’ve lived here for half of my life, I went to Sequoia Jr High and Graduated from Kentwood. I worship and volunteer in Kent, plus my businesses are here. I embrace this neighborhood and hope for continued local support. Action Sports Bar is a family operated establishment, there are no big corporate bosses or salaries, just a small group of people supporting one another.
